Our commitment
The safety and wellbeing of every child we teach comes first. We take our responsibility to safeguard children seriously and expect everyone involved in lessons to do the same.
How we keep children safe
- Lessons are taught by Bobby, an STA Level 2 qualified swimming instructor who is fully rescue-tested by the NRASTC.
- A parent or guardian stays on site for the whole of every child's lesson.
- Lessons only take place at the pool. We never arrange to meet children anywhere else.
- We only contact parents or guardians about lessons, never children directly.
- No photos or videos are taken without permission.
Raising a concern
If you have any concern about a child's safety or wellbeing, please contact Bobby straight away on 07366 273350 or glideswimschool1@gmail.com. All concerns are taken seriously.
You can also contact the NSPCC Helpline on 0808 800 5000, or Norfolk County Council's Children's Advice and Duty Service on 0344 800 8020 (day or night). If a child is in immediate danger, call 999.

We review this policy at least once a year. The next review is due by October 2027.
